Nature's glimmers are breadcrumbs that help us return home

A lyrical form of devotion, and a powerful call to recognize wilderness and unadulterated open space as key to our humanity, especially in divisive and tech-addled times like today.

In between the doing, the busyness, the roles, identities and titles we uphold, there is a being. For a moment, as we are, in the now. Without responsibility. Without pressure. Without judgement.

At the foothill of a mountain, where wallabies play and kookaburras laugh, Solace and Sanctuary offers a range of facilitated on-ground horse, art and nature experiences, to enable a reconnect to self, and a discovery of connection to ourselves and others.

Emotionally safe, seen and heard through narrative, experiential and talk therapy.

Reconnecting to the body through expressive art, sound  and writing therapies. Held by nature, supported through experiential learning and a team of co-facilitators, here to support you on your journey to change, acceptance and inner congruency.

Guide your own story, and explore the role of silence in nature as a restorative offering to recalibrate, and release. Sometimes life brings us to a place we had not expected or planned to be. Give yourself a moment to process and find peace.

Acknowledgment of Country

Solace and Sanctuary would like to acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as Australia’s First People and Traditional Custodians. We value their cultures, identities, and their continuing connection to country, waters, kin, and community. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, recognizing their profound connection to country and their role as the first true storytellers and waymakers, living in harmony with nature.

We specifically acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we work, the Quandamooka People, and we extend our respects to First Nations culture and peoples, including their Elders past, present, and emerging. We recognize their ongoing connection to land, waters, and culture, and we honor the invaluable contributions they make to our community.

At Solace and Sanctuary, we are committed to making a positive impact on the wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people by providing services that are welcoming, safe, culturally appropriate, and inclusive.

Solace and Sanctuary is committed to embracing diversity and eliminating all forms of discrimination in the provision of health services. We welcome all people irrespective of ethnicity, lifestyle choice, faith, sexual orientation and gender identity.
